An outstanding beast of an album! After testing the waters with Ἡ εἰκών, delivering more of that on the twice as long Ψευδομένη, J.L. seemingly decided to make Τρωθησομένη at least twice as aggressive. The atmosphere its predecessor had has been cut and replaced by riff after riff after riff. Riffs of all sorts, as should be noted: punky, pumping, sick, and grooving. It's like getting clapped by a frenzied maniac for 40 minutes straight. One of the wildest albums I've heard in a while! David Fischer

I feel as if somebody had drowned me in heavy oil. Seldom before have I ever felt so filthy and disgusting. If I had the chance, I would take a shower in tar right now, just to feel cleaner afterwards.
That is what Bishop's excellent debut has done to me. This is as agonizing, terrorizing, claustrophobic and soul-destroying as it gets. Prime sludge, weighing a metric ton and crushing you under the mighty, the holy, the primordial riff. I haven't felt this bad since my last suicide attempt. David Fischer
